This week, we are joined by special guest, Geri Lawson! Geri is a professor at California State University Long Beach, with a focus on gender and queer theory. Our discussion topic: Is there a need for a separate LGBT server in-game? The feeling of safety and comfort inside a game like WoW is important to everyone, but is it necessary to create safe havens?  Our question of the week: I have fallen down the rabbit hole of ERP, and I don’t know how to stop. What I used to make fun of, I am now spending all my time doing. Is this wrong? (Please be aware that this episode contains adult themes that may not be suitable for children. Listener discretion advised!) Be a part of the show by sending your Tell Us One Thing questions, Slash Moos, feedback, and requests for advice to questions@taurenthinktank.com. Slash Moo, everybody!

We’re back with stories of travel and mounts you can’t see! Our discussion topic: This week, Blizzard sent out thank you gifts to players who had been subscribed consistently for 10 years. Why is it hard for some people to be genuinely happy for those who receive something they didn’t or could not? How can we be better about battling the feelings of being left out or overlooked? Our question of the week: I’m a student, gamer, and podcaster. I find that I put the things I love to do over the things I need to do for my schoolwork and health. How can I be better about this and balance my buckets of energy in a healthier way?  Be a part of the show by sending your Tell Us One Thing questions, Slash Moos, feedback, and requests for advice to questions@taurenthinktank.com. It’s another Happy Moo Year! Our discussion topic: A listener shared that she is asexual and her boyfriend has asked that she not share that with anyone. Why do we fear what we don’t understand, enough to make others’ scared to reveal personal things about themselves? Our question of the week: I have severe anxiety in my job, where I believe that every meeting or discussion I’m not a part of is about me and my performance. How can I not sabotage my new job that I worked so hard to get with this way of thinking?  Be a part of the show by sending your Tell Us One Thing questions, Slash Moos, feedback, and requests for advice to questions@taurenthinktank.com. We’re back after the Christmas holidays, full of food and stories! Our discussion topic: What do you do with family strife that is just not reaching any resolution after years of animosity and resentment?  Our question of the week: A continuation of the discussion about bullying in the workplace. What can you do if your coworkers are the problem?  Be a part of the show by sending your Tell Us One Thing questions, Slash Moos, feedback, and requests for advice to questions@taurenthinktank.com. It’s a holiday Think Tank, complete with surprises, gifts, and giveaways! Our discussion topic: How much power is too much for a guild officer?  Our question of the week: I’m being bullied on Twitter and in my workplace, and people continue to tell me to “get over it” and “stop being so sensitive”. I don’t know what to do, and it’s gotten so bad that I’ve cut myself to feel better. Why do people tell adults to just “get over it” in the face of bullying?  Be a part of the show by sending your Tell Us One Thing questions, Slash Moos, feedback, and requests for advice to questions@taurenthinktank.com. We’re having ourselves a garrison good time this week! Our discussion topic: How do you handle extreme stress? What do you do when you feel there’s no end in sight for that stress? Our question of the week: After raiding, I have really disruptive bad dreams that affect my ability to sleep well. How can I stop dreaming like this? It’s a week of holiday decorating, coffee mug philosophy, garrisons and raiding! Our discussion topic: When we say we don’t have enough hours in the day to do all we think we should do, what does that really equate to? As gamers, do we spend our time differently than other people? Our question of the week: How do I fight the urge to vent all of my frustrations about my relationship to my closest friends and not betray my partner’s trust by oversharing private details to other people? We’re back after a week of illness and….dunging?! We give our initial impressions of the content to this point, and what we’re doing after level 100. Our discussion topic: I’ve been playing Horde for many expansions, but after reading some of the backstory of what Garrosh did to the Night Elves, I can’t play my Horde characters anymore! What can I do? Our advice question of the week: I have mental and physical disabilities, and my mother blames all of my problems on WoW and other games. Please help me understand why she blames everything on my love of games.  Be a part of the show by sending your Tell Us One Thing questions, Slash Moos, feedback, and requests for advice to questions@taurenthinktank.com.
