It’s been a week of video games and RL stuff. Just like every week, right?! Our discussion question: My parents call my choice of political candidate “stupid”, and are unwilling to discuss it with me or acknowledge that they’ve used that term with me several times. What do I do? Our Think Tank question: My wife cheated on me and we divorced. It’s been over a year, and I’m still shattered and find it hard to be whole again. How does someone come back from this? Chiropractic woes, Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch, job searches and rogue leveling! Our discussion question: Do you have any in-game prejudices about how you think certain race/class combos always behave? Do you run when you see an undead rogue in PvP or feel safe because that tauren druid won’t harm you? Our Think Tank question: How can you feel more comfortable going to a meetup alone when you’re an introvert and you don’t really know anyone? The final update on the quest for the Big Love Rocket, and what we’ve been up to in our Blizzard gaming adventures. Our discussion question: I’m a “filthy casual” who wants to do end game content, but I can’t handle to grind to get there. What should I do? Our Think Tank question: How do you forgive yourself and forgive a parent who is a broken adult who raised a broken child?  Be a part of the show by sending your Tell Us One Thing questions, feedback, and requests for advice to questions@taurenthinktank.com. It’s another show and an update on what’s been happening in our worlds (hint, it’s a lot!) Our discussion question: When people say they’re quitting my raid team because they’re bored with WoW, I feel like they’re actually bored with me. I love to raid and it’s hard when people decide raiding isn’t fun to them like it is to me. Am I taking this too personally? Our Think Tank question: I would like to train to be a software developer, but I work full time and earn the money for our household. I could take a 16-week bootcamp class but I’m not sure if that’s the right move. What should I do? Our update and recap from our time presenting at PAX South! Our discussion question: I’m beyond stressed out from working 40 hours a week, going to school, taking care of my family and dealing with major life crises over the last few months. How can I learn to cope better with all the stresses in my life? Our Think Tank question: I’ve had a falling out with two friends and recently with a different friend. I’m an introvert and don’t make friends easily. Why does this keep happening. I feel like I will never make good friends. Jules and Marconin were joined by Dr. Anthony Bean, PhD and Dr. Holiday Bean, PsyD for a panel at PAX South on Friday, January 29th. This is the audio version of our panel discussing gamer identity, why we feel different and excluded by people who don't relate to the gaming culture and so much more. We talk about our experiences as gamers, relating to non-gamers, and what we can do to help people understand the gamer identity. We also took audience questions, and they delivered!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at PAX South!

You can find Dr. Anthony Bean on Twitter: @VideoGameDoc and through his website: http://beanpsychologicalservices.com

It’s a week of snow stories and stream appearances! Our 24-hour chat room has moved to Discord, and you can join our community there at: http://tinyurl.com/tttchat2 Our discussion question: My fiance struggles with depression but won’t consider therapy. I want us to plan our life together, but he doesn’t have a desire to plan anything. How can I have a conversation with him about my feelings? Our Think Tank question: My biological father was never a part of my life. He died a few years ago, and I learned about his family through his obituary. I would like to contact them but I’m not sure how. What should I do?  Be a part of the show by sending your Tell Us One Thing questions, feedback, and requests for advice to questions@taurenthinktank.com. Slash Moo, everybody!

We’re back with updates on PAX South, Jules’ move and Marconin’s mount acquisitions! Our 24-hour chat room has moved to Discord, and you can join our community there at: http://tinyurl.com/tttchat2 Our discussion question: How do you open a conversation with a guy who you believe is being taken advantage of by a girl who just wants what he can buy for her? Our Think Tank question: I’m really lonely, but my brain tells me that any person I meet doesn’t really like me, even if they’re being friendly. How do I get the confidence to make friends and not feel paranoid that I’m being left out of things by people?  Be a part of the show by sending your Tell Us One Thing questions, feedback, and requests for advice to questions@taurenthinktank.com. Happy Moo Year! We’re back with updates on how our holidays went, and all the latest in our crazy lives. Our 24-hour chat room has moved to Discord, and you can join our community there at: http://tinyurl.com/tttchat2 Our discussion question: We’ve all heard about post-con blues, but what about those who can’t ever make it to a convention or meetup? How does someone handle the fear of missing out? Our Think Tank question: I’ve come back to the guild I left about a year ago and found it to be a ghost town. My friend and I were told that we were the reason everyone was there in the first place. What advice do you have to revive this dead guild and avoid the mistakes of the past?
